Talking to the Choir

Have you ever been to church and heard the preacher say he was tired of preaching to the choir? Well, growing up baptist, I heard that more than once. (I don’t hear it anymore as I am now married to and attend a Church of Christ and we don’t have a choir, but I digress.) Given all the time all of the bloggers in the world are spending writing about issues that concern them, everything from politics, to the Olympics, to puppies, gay rights, and in my world medical and agricultural issues, I am just wondering who our choir is?

Are we talking to each other?

To the mailman?

To our child’s teacher?

Or even more ambitious are we talking to someone who can change the why, where, when, or who we are writing about?

Cheers and good reading to all the members of the “choir” out there. May you learn more than you need, but always need to learn more.

About McLerranMD

I am blessed to be the mother of three wonderful children, and I am married to Brian. Together with my husband and his father we farm several hundred acres in Moss, TN, where my husband is a 6th generation farmer. We raise Grass-Fed, Grain Finished Beef. We also raise squirrel dogs, horses, and currently 4-H pigs. In my day job I work off the farm as a doctor. I have run my own practice for the last 8 years, but I am changing jobs in January to that of a full time ED doctor. This will allow me to spend more time with my family.
