So, with the onset of warmer weather, there is lots to do on our farm. Animals to feed, hay to cut, and catfish to feed.
My daughters are working on breaking our show heifers, too.
There are fences to fix after winter storms, but as you can see it’s not all work. My six year old always manages to have fun.
We also have a new filly (baby girl) colt that has been named Bella.
And lastly, spring has brought Cord’s (my six year old’s) Kindergarden graduation.
It’s been a very full springtime on the farm.
Oh, and by the way, I also got to be on “Chopped” on Food Network. Well, that was a world of fun but I think I’ll stick to farming and medicine from here on out. My kids are hard enough food critics for me.
